Speaking to Local 18, Singh Food owner Paramjit Kaur says that in 2011, he had started a Punjabi food dhaba chain by the name of Tuhada Dhaba. Gradually Tuhada Dhaba started getting recognition across the city and people started liking the taste of the dishes here. Now recently they have started opening their small outlets even at public gathering places. Where only Kadhi-Rajma, rice and veg pulao are available. There is less space available in crowded places, hence they are not able to run a proper kitchen from there.

Behind the taste of Kadhi-Rajma rice, Sardar ji says that he cooks Kadhi-Rajma rice from 6:00 am to 10:00 am and after that, this Kadhi-Rajma rice keeps cooking on low flame from morning till evening at the outlet. This not only keeps the food hot and fresh but also enhances the taste of Kadhi-Rajma.
